2026 Spring Session for 2nd - 8th Grade Girls

2nd/3rd Grade

  • Format: One session per week on Fridays for 90min. The session will provide fun and up-tempo skill development and game-play designed to get the girls excited about playing basketball.

  • Dates: April 6 - May 22

  • Practice/Games: Fridays 4:15-5:45pm @ Olympus

  • Head Coach: Lisa Kunst

  • Cost: $100 - The cost includes a reversible jersey for those that need one.

  • Registration

4th Grade

  • Format: One practice per week with league games on Friday nights in April/May. Depending on numbers, we will try to invite all girls to participate in Friday night games provided their skill level is ready to play in competitive games. Ultimately this will be decided by the coaches.

  • Dates: April 6 - May 22

  • Practices: Tuesdays 6:00-7:30pm @ Greenhills

  • Games: We will be joining the Friday night Sacramento Feeder League. Games will be on Friday nights in April & May. There will be two games each Friday night.

  • Head Coach: Jamie Holmes

  • Cost: $175 - Includes practices, games and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game jerseys are $100 for those that need one (they are the same jerseys as the winter session & last year).

  • Registration

5th/6th Grade

  • Format: Two practices per week with league games on Friday nights in April/May. Depending on numbers, we will try to invite all girls to participate in Friday night games provided their skill level is ready to play in competitive games.

  • Practices: Mondays 6:00-7:30pm @ Excelsior & Wednesdays 5:30-7:00pm @ Cavitt.

  • Games: We will be joining the Friday night Sacramento Feeder League. Games will be on Friday nights in April & May. There will be two games each Friday night.

  • Cost: $225 - Includes practices, games and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game jerseys are $100 for those that need one (they are the same jerseys as the winter session & last year).

7th/8th Grade

  • Format: Two practices per week with league games on Friday nights in April/May. Depending on numbers, we will try to invite all girls to participate in Friday night games provided their skill level is ready to play in competitive games. Depending on how many players register and their skill level, we may create two teams.

  • Dates: March 9 - May 22

  • Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-7:00pm @ Eureka School. No practice during Spring Break.

  • Games: We will be joining the Friday night Sacramento Feeder League. Games will be on Friday nights in April & May.

  • Head Coach: Paul Prentice. Assistant Coaches Frances Patmon, Sarah Moe & Bryan Powell

  • Cost: $275 - Includes practices, games and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game jerseys are $100 for those that need one (they are the same jerseys as last year).

-COACHES NEEDED! - We are in need of parents to volunteer to be coaches. Prior playing or coaching experience is needed to be a head coach. No coaching experience required to be an assistant! Please contact Bryan Powell (bryanpowell.re@gmail.com) if interested.

PAST Girls Program Offerings

2025 Fall Session for 4th - 8th Grade Girls

The Bay’s next session will be our Fall Session which will begin either August 25th or later depending on the grade level. Our Kinder through 3rd grade girls will be back in action when our Winter Session starts in January!

4th Grade

  • Format: Two practices per week focusing on skill development and gameplay. Depending on numbers, the Tuesday session will be run clinic style with the focus on skill building while the Thursday practice will be scrimmaging with the focus on gameplay.

  • Dates: September 2nd - October 30th

  • Practices: Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm @ Greenhills & Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm @ Olive Ranch

  • Games: No weekend games. Only scrimmaging during the practice session.

  • Cost: $200 - The cost covers practice and a practice jersey for those that need one.

  • Registration

5th/6th Grade

  • Format: The Fall Session will be used as skill development with two practices per week.

  • Dates: September 8th - October 24th

  • Practices: Mondays 5:30-7:00pm @ Eureka School & Fridays 5:30-7:00pm @ Excelsior.

  • Games: No weekend games. Only scrimmaging during the practice session.

  • Cost: $150 - The cost covers practice and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game uniforms are $100 for those that don’t have one.

  • Registration

7th/8th Grade

  • Format: Practice two days per week and Friday night league games.

  • Dates: August 26 - October 24

  • Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm @ Eureka School. No practice 8/28.

  • Games: Approx 4-5 tournaments taking place on either Friday nights or Saturdays.

  • Cost: $250 - The cost covers practice, games and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game uniforms are $100 for those that don’t have one.

  • Registration
