2026 Winter Session for K - 8th Grade Boys
Granite Bay High School Youth Clinics
Format: Granite Bay High School Basketball offers youth clinics on the first 4 Saturdays in January to kids aged Kinder - 6th grade. This is not a The Bay program, but The Bay is a partner with Granite Bay HS so we would love all players to attend these clinics! The Bay’s programs will not conflict with the GBHS Clinics.
Dates: Jan 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Clinic Times:
Kinder - 2nd Grade: 8:45-10:15am
3rd-6th Grade: 10:30am-12:00pm
Cost: $130 - The cost includes a GBHS t-shirt for the younger group and a jersey for the older group.
Kinder/1st Grade
Format: One session per week on Saturdays for 90min. Players will work on skill development and play games in a fun environment!
Dates: January 31 - March 21
Practice/Games: Saturdays 9:00-10:30am
Head Coach: Brent McHone
Cost: $120 - The cost includes a reversible jersey for those that need one (they are the same as last year).
2nd Grade
Format: One session per week on Fridays for 2hrs. Players will work on skill development and play games in a fun environment!
Dates: January 16 - March 27
Practice/Games: Fridays 5:00-7:00pm
Head Coach: Sumip Patel
Cost: $160 - The cost includes a reversible jersey for those that need one (they are the same as last year).
3rd Grade
Format: One clinic style practice per week starting 1/14 and intra-squad games on Saturdays. The Saturday games will begin on 1/31. No practice or games Feb 16-22.
Dates: January 14 - March 25
Practice: Wednesdays 4:15-5:45pm beginning 1/14.
Games: Saturdays 9:00-11:00am beginning 1/31.
Head Coach: Arren Setness
Cost: $200 - The cost includes a reversible jersey for those that need one (they are the same as last year).
4th Grade
Format: All players will participate in one practice per week and play in intrasquad games on Sundays. Additionally, a Tournament Team will practice one additional day per week and play in tournaments on approximately 2 Saturdays per month. A tryout will be held the first week for anyone wanting to play on the Tournament Team. There will be a separate registration fee paid at a later date for the players on the Tournament Team. No practice or games Feb 16-22.
Dates: January 12 - March 27
Practices: All Players: Mondays 4:15-5:45pm. Tournament Team: Thursdays 5:45-7:15pm.
Games: Sunday Intrasquad Games begin Feb 1st. Game times will be between 10am-12pm. Tournament Team Games will be Jan 24, Feb 28 plus one additional weekend in Feb and two additional dates in March.
Head Coach: Adam Casares, Joe Sullivan
Cost: $230 - Registration includes one practice, Sunday intrasquad games and a practice jersey for those that need one. An additional cost of $120 for the Tournament Team will be due when the team is selected. Game uniforms for the Tournament Team are $100 for those that don’t have one (They are the same as last year). Tournaments will cost $20-$25 each and will be paid the week of the tournament.
5th Grade
Format: All players will practice twice per week in order to continue their basketball development. A Tournament Team will be selected and will practice one additional day. The Tournament Team will play games on approximately 2 weekends per month. An additional registration fee will be paid by those that make the Tournament team to cover the cost of the additional practice. No practice or games Feb 16-22.
Dates: January 12 - March 27
Practices: All players will practice Mondays & Wednesdays 4:15-5:15pm. The Tournament Team will practice Thursday 4:15-5:15 as well.
Games: Weekend games on approximately 2 weekends per month for the Tournament Team.
Head Coach: Brad Smith
Cost: $150 - The cost includes practice and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game uniforms for the Tournament Team are $100 for those that don’t have one (They are the same as last year). Tournaments will cost $20-$25 each and will be paid the week of the tournament. The Tournament Team will have an additional fee of $80 paid when the team is announced.
6th Grade
Format: Two practices per week with tournament games on approximately 2 weekends per month. The top 10 players in current skill will be invited to play in weekend games. Our goal is to continue developing all players in practice while providing competitive opportunities for the players ready to take that step. Depending on how many players register, their skill level, and coaching availability, we may create two teams. No practice or games Feb 16-22.

Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm.
Games: Weekend games on approximately 2 weekends per month.
Head Coach: Michael Stockton
Cost: $250 - The cost includes practice and a practice jersey for those that need one. Game uniforms are $100 for those that don’t have one (They are the same as last year). Tournaments will cost $20-$25 each and will be paid the week of the tournament.
7th Grade
Format: Two practices per week with tournament games on approximately 2 weekends per month. The top 10 players in current skill will be invited to play in weekend games. Depending on how many players register, their skill level, and coaching availability, we may create two teams. No practice or games Feb 16-22.
